What an interesting place and so well looked after. The adults and 10 year old thoroughly enjoyed it and even learnt something. Would thoroughly recommend and well worth the reasonable admission fee.
We only visited the printer workshop because we arrived at the end of the afternoon. We spend a very pleasant time and talked a lot with the volonter. He showed us a lot of things. Thanks to him. The park is lovely. However the price is too high (7$ pp).
Its a must to visit especially to view old buildings and see how the early settlers lived. the grounds have lovely historic buildings. Not only old buildings but equipment that the settlers would have used. its a must to visit in the lovely Wairarapa
