  • The walk and the beach with the rocks and sand dunes is beautiful. It is however really extremely windy and it itself is on hot days not soooo nice - so best in layers dress!

  • From the car park there is a possibility to walk the track, or the easier walk. Both go to the beach, the one the western end, the other the Eastern. Make sure you view this walk at low tide. Then you can walk on the beach, the sea caves to see, and (in January) you can go to this island where the seal pups play in the water.

  • Wharariki Beach has always been a highlight experience to share with visitors, especially during low tide & calm weather. The sunsets here are spectacular!
