  • The look and feel of Mrs Woolly's as one enters is that of a general store, but one can smell the fresh aroma of coffee and cookies as one enters. The cookies that I and my wife had were so delicious ...  more »
  • This is a terrific shop with lots of really good quality things to choose from. As any good General Store it had interesting foods, veg and snacks. Plus coffee, cakes and more snacks. Highly recommend
  • Delicious freshly cooked savoury muffins and other fresh local options made our lunch stop at Mrs Woolly's general store a delightful surprise on our family drive from Queenstown! Lovely little store ...  more »

  • Great and interesting store but the people working there are "A"-grade pricks. I purchased a few cool items at the cost of $200+ and some drinks/snacks. We are of an Asian ethnic background but are second-generation New Zealanders. They would make snide comments whenever we asked about an item. We didn't even have a foreign accent but I guess just being a visitor to their store was enough for them to gossip between themselves. I guess being such a small town, whenever they see new people they just can't help themselves and must pass judgement. Side-note: Ordered a mocha and it was terrible.
