A natural water slide near the picturesque Rere Falls, Rere Rockslide makes an exciting summer activity for both locals and tourists. The Wharekopae River flows over this long, smooth sheet of rock and ends in a pool of water below. You must take your own boogie board, inflatable tube, or something similar to participate, and remember to wear swimming gear.     Didn't go down the slide with it being winter but still a nice place to go to on a drive from town. A bit muddy and not quite as pretty as the falls for a picnic spot but nice anyway. Picnic tables an...  more »

    All you need is togs & an inner tube for some great old fashioned fun created by nature. Went as a kid just as much fun with my kids.  more »
