  • My children love coming here to see what new things they have going on! They also have a little cafe so you can sit down and enjoy a drink and something to eat.
  • Great place, well presented and friendly / helpful staff. Could do with more information on the exhibits... But it's free so is exceedingly good value. Nice coffee shop at the entrance too.
  • Great place to go for a relaxed wander while learning about early Dunedin. Always has great rolling exhibits too. Great gift shop, coffee shop on-site isn't too bad either.
  • Fantastic museum to learn about the early history of Dunedin, must visit if you're in town. Free entry as well!
  • Really nice place to spend a cold winter afternoon. Since reopening there is a much nicer feel and the exhibitions appear much better presented. Liked the cats & dogs section. Great way to research potential settler connections in the family too.
  • Fabulous museum, just the right amount of interactive activities for kids to keep them interested the whole way around!
