  • Took a short walk to the railway station from out hotel. We spend time outside and inside the railway station. Interesting architecture , which we took lots of pictures. Nice well kept garden outside ...  more »

  • Great train ride - Very relaxing. Just make sure they are departing from Dunedin station. We didn't due to track work and had a council bus ride for a 5 star experience.
  • The station is beautiful. There was a market on Saturday when we caught the train in March. Spectacular trip along the Gorge with a variety of impressive scenery. All the best to those affected by the floods.
  • Friendly people. Lovely to talk with. One chapter going out of his way to tell us about some of the history that was from his own experiences!
  • Very historic building also that are go train trust sell tickets for the train rides up the taieri gorge and the coastal train
