  • This is a beautiful building with great staff, great icecream, but having booked a private event at the Vic, the current manager made every little thing into a problem. It was a very important and...  more »

  • This is the most amazing theatre, showing fabulous films. Only place I use... however, remember to take a blanket with you as I have been caught out twice recently and sat and shivered whilst...  more »
  • It is a beautiful cinema. However, I have to say I've never felt more unwelcome. I reserved tickets over the phone for my partner and her dad. The young man on the line assured me he would have three tickets waiting for me. I showed up 10 minutes before the screening had started. However the manager had to decided to sell on the reserved tickets to three other customers as the screening had sold out. So, in order to make it up to us, the manager placed three, wooden, hard-backed chairs on the end of one of the rows in the smallest cinema. We were then charged FULL PRICE for the tickets. Unbelievable. And hugely embarrassing for me.
  • I used to be a patron in the 70s/80s when it was one big theatre. In as much as I would love to see it in all its former glory, I understand how and why it transformed into what it is today. I’m just very grateful this piece of history (and all the wonderful experiences we had there) are still there to be enjoyed today. I live in Australia now and this part of my “nostalgia tour” was definitely a highlight. The Vic’s historical information on display for tragics like me was a nice touch. Thank you!
  • An historic and wonderful building, plenty of choice of movies. Good value when combined with Fullers ferry tickets. Delicious wines too to enjoy during the show.
  • This cinema is incredible good! I came here all the way from Germany and have to say, it is one of the best movie theatres I have ever been to. It is not the screen, its not their sound, but it is how they offer you a wide selection of different movies and documentaries that you won't find somewhere else. Beside they have some smaller rooms which give you another feeling watching a movie than in one of those bigger cinemas. I gonna miss that one for sure! Please keep it up like that.
  • Another excellent experience of The Vic. Just seen '1917'. Great movie and good coffee.
