  • When it comes to this place, you feel the urge to move forward. Traders are listening. Life takes over. What a pleasure to participate.

  • Visited Re:Start on a family holiday and found it very interesting!! Lots of shipping containers turned into little boutique shops and food stalls. Great concept and very visually appealing!!  more »
  • Wandered into this area to hunt for some decent street food. Live music on offer that isn't too intrusive with growing choice. Like the offer of independent shops inbetween the shopping centre too. Wo...  more »

  • Once again, the people of Christchurch have picked up the pieces and used their #8 DIY attitude with shipping containers and created a great colourful funky place to shop. This is not a major shopping mall, but certainly worth visiting. There are a few food outlets, but I enjoyed sitting on the upstairs of the centrally located coffee shop and enjoying the sun and coffee whilst everybody was buzzing around below.
  • The people of christchurch has a never say die attitude and start their shops all over again after the quake in container shops like these! And hoping business will improve everyday! Everything closes early here so start the day early exploring the shops here! And support them if you can! Thumbs up!!
  • Worth a visit if you're visiting christchurch. Warning - everything closes early! (like 5pm-ish most days) Mostly just overpriced tourist shops but something to do. There are some tasty food trucks and outdoor seating in the back corner (or front depending on where you start)
  • Repurposed shipping containers into retail and food retailers. Lots of variety and worth a visit but falls short of other local shopping centres outside of cbd area
  • If your looking for fashion and souveniers this place will suffice it all. A very unique shopping experince where retail outlet shops are made of the container van painted in beautiful solid colors. Along with it has a nice and decent street foods from bento to dumbling, from pizza to burger that surely will satisfy your tummy.
