  • First i thought it is a little bit expensive for just a ride with the train, but it was worth it! U reach areas, u can´t reach with the bike. We had amazing weather, starting in sunny Christchurch. A long the seas u can shot so many beautiful pictures! A top in Arthur´s Pass was a lot of snow what makes it so special that you ride from the ocean into a winter wonderland in just two hours. I loved it to stay most of the time on the platform outside of the car.
  • This is probably the most relaxing way to cross the southern Alps. If you are visiting the South island this is absolutely a must do. You can have coffee, a snack and enjoy the view.
  • Only rode to Arthur's Pass, but it was some of the most spectacular scenery I've ever seen, on the most comfortable train ever
  • This was simply one of the best places in New Zealand (south island), specially in winter to see all of the stunning views I've ever visited in my life so far 😀👍❄
  • Good train with beautiful scenic view and food
