  • Great park to just be in. Has a tonne of fields where you can run , play sport, get some pars in golf or just enjoy a picnic. One great thing is that the botanical gardens is connected inside it, so anytime in spring or autumn its the place to be! Victoria lake is also embedded in it, a great place to chill out.by the water with ducks and swans hanging out, sometimes seagulls too!.
  • Beautiful park we walked across the bridge from Botanical gardens, the Daffodil Woodlands were full of 3 different species of daffodils and snow drops. There are benches through out the park to seat on , most of the have memorial plaques dedicated to people.
  • North Hagley Park is a beautiful park tucked in the heart of the city. It has a few amenities around like cafés, information site, tennis courts, etc. There are also many verieties of plants and trees. It's a must see if you're a nature person.
  • It's my second favourite Hagley park next to south but way better than little hagley
  • Lovely park. It's huge and has a lot of sporting activities. Lots of Parking is available.

Where to stay in Christchurch

Offering an extensive range of hotels, hostels, motels with kitchens, and campsites, Christchurch makes a great place to set up camp as you explore the city and beyond. The greatest diversity of accommodations clusters in the city center next to North and South Hagley parks. You'll find apartments, boutique and luxury hotels, and backpacker hostels in the central district and towards the coast, while cheaper places to stay--such as motels, RV parks, and economy hotels--dot the outskirts and the area surrounding the airport.
