There is also a large array of heritage museums and displays that are often open for viewing, particularly on Sundays. These museums are owned and operated by individual societies. • Great place to visit and for all to explore...recommend to go take a looky. The printer shop is just amazing the guy in there just takes people under his wing and takes them on a journey. The kids just loved the biscuit baking and how they used to wash clothes was cool too. Had our own picnic on the lawn/picnic area. Just a shame there's not really a bakery/cafe place anymore...like when I was a kid! But overall one of our fave places to visit every holidays.
  • We really enjoyed our visit with our family from Australia. The volunteer's have done an amazing job keeping this place going and all the work involved. The price was very reasonable for a fun day out. I recommend you take a picnic as there plenty of space to enjoy the day 😃
  • The town itself is great! The people are friendly. They took time to explain details of each part of the town. Definitely reccomending it to the young and old. Try the train and tram rides
  • Kept my husband amused for hours. One admission fee, then ride on as often as you like whatever vehicle takes your fancy. Model railway and duck pond also a big hit.
