Ferrymead Park features an early 1900s (Edwardian) township, with exhibits such as houses, picture theatre, school classroom, church, jail, railway station, lodge hall, post office, printers, tobacconist, general store, lawyer’s office and more.

There is also a large array of heritage museums and displays that are often open for viewing, particularly on Sundays. These museums are owned and operated by individual societies. Their own volunteer workers restore and display their collections, such as tractors, fire engines, aeroplanes, trams, trains, theatrical operations, mini rail, model trains, radios, photography and much more.

  • Amazing museum, kids love it and they have awesome events days foe young and old to injoy
  • We had a wonderful time here. The staff were lovely especially the receptionist. The place was just wonderful to take grandchildren and other family members.
