Stirling Point Reviews
打卡必到聖地，站在紐西蘭最南端，感覺很棒，南極就在對面，雖然看不到。這裹有個燈塔，也有一家很棒的餐廳眺望著大海，值得一去。有幸的話還可以吃到Bluff生蠔！ more »The clock will go to the Holy Land, and stand at the southernmost tip of New Zealand, feeling great, and the south is on the opposite side, though it cannot be seen. This is a light tower, and there is a great restaurant overlooking the sea, worth a visit. If you are lucky, you can still eat bluff oysters!
Not much too add but made it the famous sign post nice restaurant on top of hill., Take the ferry to Stewart Island., that’s a must more »
É considerado o ponto extremo sul do continente neo-zelandês. There is also the Stewart Island further South, which belongs to the country, but this is extreme continental, where Highway 1, which runs through the North Island from South to North. It is possible to see the Stewart Island and, further South, Antarctica. Yellow plates are iconic, and deserve a picture. Soon after, the best restaurant in town.
If you're in Bluff take a quick drive or walk to Stirling Point. It's the last signpost of NZ and just a quick picture opportunity for those inclined, but there are also some spectacular views of the coast. If you're a bit hungry Oyster Cove restaurant nearby has amazing food, but a bit of a price tag as well. If you have the $ it's worth the stop. You can get the famous Bluff oysters there prepared for you in 4 ways.
If you're in the area, you should visit for 10-20 minutes or so. It's a fun view and great photo op., but not much else. I think I just like being at the end of large land masses. The parking was pretty full in mid February, but since people don't spend long there, spaces open up.
Very touristy and basically a sign at the end of a road on a cliff. If your in the town already why not, but to travel all that way I can definitely think of other things to do with my 3 hours return trip! However: May is Bluff Oyster season. If you go in May definitely visit and try the seasonal oysters and make a lunch of it. Make sure you ask for Bluff Oysters!!
Nice place. Have a walk and enjoy the birds. Have a coffee or some seafood in the restsurant but check if change is correct.
After riding 3018km I was happy to see the end of Tour Aotearoa 2018.
