  • We went to Mt Difficulty to do a wine tasting and have lunch. We didn't have a reservation but we were easily accommodated which was great. Lunch and service was fine - the ambience was good as there ...  more »
  • I thought it would pay dividends to move away from the crowded venues close to Queenstown, and a visit to Mt. Difficulty proved this out. To start, the views of the Bannockburn area are wonderful. Onc...  more »

  • GREAT location and gorgeous winery. The wine was very good. The offer free tastings (well, you pay a gold coin) and of course everything is waived if you buy a bottle of wine. You can also sit on the terrace and enjoy full glasses of wine, and if there is space in the restaurant you can sit there and enjoy the view. If you want to have lunch (and we hear the restaurant is very good) you should definitely make a reservation. We sat down at a table at around 3:30-4pm and they only had their cheese platters at that point, which did not disappoint at all.
  • Pretty nice, not an amazing setting but great wine and food!
  • Top Pinot Noir from Central Otago! Very helpful staff!! View is stunning too! Must to do!!
  • Great wine and amazing platter. Try the wine tray with the platter and enjoy the view and relax. Amazing. Highly recommended.
  • Great spot to stop in for delicious wine and good food. On a hot summer day my family loves picking an outdoor table and enjoying lunch over the beautiful views.
