Neighborhood Shopping
For outstanding dining and shopping, visit Ponsonby, one of Auckland's trendiest inner-city suburbs. From the 1970s onwards, the suburb had strong links to Auckland's art and LGBT communities, and this influence remains visible in the numerous art galleries and the area's bohemian atmosphere. At night, the main strip comes alive with numerous pubs, bars, and nightclubs. Make Ponsonby a part of your Auckland vacation plans using our Auckland vacation planner.
