La Cigale French Market, Auckland
(4.3/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Pick up delicious local foods and souvenirs at La Cigale French Market every weekend. The French-style farmers market features stall upon stall of seasonal fruit and vegetables, freshly baked breads, French cheeses, homemade chocolates, oils, preserves, and much more. It takes time to explore every vendor, so stop for coffee and fresh pastries still hot from the oven for a pick-me-up. If you've brought your dog on the trip, or your four-legged friend is waiting at home for souvenirs, look for Auntie Briar's specialty doggie treats. • We did not know what to expect on our first visit here. Was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality and reasonable prices of the produce on sale here. We could have easily took home more wonderful goodies than we did. Looking forward to our next visit already !
  • Great choices and range and super friendly vendors
  • Great for a sunny Sunday morning. If you can get a fresh cooked croissant at the stand near the wine store it will change the way you think of croissants. If baked goods aren't your bag the juice stand makes decent mixes with friendly service.
  • I always like the market there.. Always find food so fresh.. But slightly expensive
  • Nice atmosphere, lovely food options available, with gluten free sausages sold and also cooked on-site
