  • Visited there today as its only 5 mins from where I live as I have been there before about 2 years ago ,and it was even better this time.It is such a beautiful place with a lot of good energy with all those amazing crystals there. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The cafe looked nice and the place was busy with many happy customers. We saw turkeys, peacocks and rabbit and a goat not far from the coffee shop, the animals looked happy. Im happy to go again......I purchased a couple of things from the gift shop, that was lovely. The crystal gallery is amazing as before too......lovely happy place out west,we are lucky to have it.
  • We visited this beautiful tranquil place yesterday. We stepped back in time & got away from the total crap of commercialism & enjoyed our time to wander the park pat animals we have never been up close to allowed us to breathe & forget our busy lives for a while The crystal shop & museum have totally eye popping amazing specimens If u like mother nature & her gifts she offers THIS IS THE PLACE TO SEE THEM!!! Thank u Crystal Mountain for the wonderful space u have created for us to relax & enjoy. I can not possibly imagine the long hrs & hard work & commitment it takes to keep this place operating. A wonderful destination.
  • This is a favorite destination for us when in Auckland. The crystals are incredible and the staff and owners have always been extremely helpful to us. We have had a wonderful meal. We do not go there for the amusement park side of the business, it is the crystals that have and will always draw us back there.
  • After reading the reviews here I had fairly low expectations, but I think since many of these reviews were written a lot of improvements have been made. I took my boys age 4 and 10 and we had a great time! they loved the train ride, and the rollercoaster, and the bungy tramp. Sure there weren't a lot of animals, and its certainly not international standard attraction (its very low-key), but it was fresh air and a day out. The staff were lovely, the food in the cafe looked good (though a fairly basic choices). The kids found all the dinosaur fossils and crystals really interesting and left with a small crystal each very happy!
  • I never write reviews but had to on this occasion. What a complete waste of money. I had to apologise to the kids as we left only 40 mins after arriving about what a let down it was. No petting area with animals unless you wanted to pay extra and it would hardly be worth it by the looks of it. None of the animals were interested in the petty amount of hay given as food to hand out, the rides were all a lot extra and the museum boring for little ones. You cannot charge these prices when you are up against the likes of sheeo world ($5 on grab one and top class) or Ambury Farm for free.
