I can not understand how people think this place is great?! Cafe is a mess and tables not cleared. Girl at the counter seems stressed as she was having to hold the fort while her co worker ate her lun... read more »
This place is a joke. The animals are depressed and in an unfit state. They are so neglected. No fresh food and they are dirty and unkempt. The cafe service is atrocious. So many dirty tables. We wait... read more »
The Marshalls Shared
After reading the reviews here I had fairly low expectations, but I think since many of these reviews were written a lot of improvements have been made. I took my boys age 4 and 10 and we had a great time! they loved the train ride, and the rollercoaster, and the bungy tramp. Sure there weren't a lot of animals, and its certainly not international standard attraction (its very low-key), but it was fresh air and a day out. The staff were lovely, the food in the cafe looked good (though a fairly basic choices). The kids found all the dinosaur fossils and crystals really interesting and left with a small crystal each very happy!
I never write reviews but had to on this occasion. What a complete waste of money. I had to apologise to the kids as we left only 40 mins after arriving about what a let down it was. No petting area with animals unless you wanted to pay extra and it would hardly be worth it by the looks of it. None of the animals were interested in the petty amount of hay given as food to hand out, the rides were all a lot extra and the museum boring for little ones. You cannot charge these prices when you are up against the likes of sheeo world ($5 on grab one and top class) or Ambury Farm for free.

Tourist trap! Outdated, one of the dinosaurs was broken and fixed with cellotape, the train ride is not a train ride it is a tractor with an audio of a train playing. The animals were not in the best of shape either. The only amusing part was the goat and our 4 year old enjoyed the trai.. I mean tractor ride. I could never recommend this to anyone not even for a grab one deal.
Outdated to say the least. Dirty, messy, broken . The crystal shop was disappointing, lots of big stones exposed but no information about them whatsoever: name-provenance-weight-etc.... Very little information about the crystals throughout, the museum was a joke, maybe an old collection, the display was shockingly presented with bulbs that had not been replaced. One of the animal was limping, the goat attached to the chain broke my heart. Overall, it was not an enjoyable experience, very badly managed and wonder where all the money goes as everything is on the verge of breaking point.
The Crystal shop is good and we enjoyed the museum. Didn't try the amusement park, too pricey. It's the third time I've tried their food and it will be the last. The chocolate caramel slice was so hard I couldn't even bite it or cut it with a knife. I wasn't surprised as the food wasn't good the other times
