Here the animals have a lot of space available to them and are not segregated into small cages and battered. There is also a chance to see the Kiwis .... fantastic.show original
Finally a zoo worth visiting. Well maintained, interesting themes, good facilities, reasonably priced cafés. We came on a windy day, but that was not a problem with the way the zoo is designed, the wind was not bothering. Our toddler had a great day and a lot of fun. We will be coming back for sure.
This is a great place to spend the day but surly one day is not enough with so many things to explore. Very well organised and so many different animals to visit. Such a wonderful experience every time .
Great day out with the neice and nephews.. loved the NZ spaces..and the way the new enclosures are more natural makes it all the more exciting for the kids.. highly recommend
Had taken our family here and it was great. Zoo shop had great things to buy at reasonable prices. Animals were awesome.
It is really easy to get around the zoo with a buggy as there isn't many steep inclines to overcome. We were fortunate to come on a pretty clement day, not too hot for the family but sunny enough and since it was a Tuesday, we had no issue with navigating any large group of people. The food available at the cafes was pretty reasonable also.
