  • Great tour, full of animals, people are taking are hyper accessible when you have questions. And above all the opportunity to see a kiwi if you've not seen during your journey :) only downside price which is not given $ 28 for adult... but it's worth the shot

  • Well zoo's have done there dash right? It doesn't matter how many cut branches and small ponds they put into an enclosure , it's still a sad state of affairs. The spaces are to small and the animals a...  more »

  • Took my little guy here for his first birthday and it was great, lots to see and do for all ages and on a Monday morning it was lovely and quiet with no crowds. We got lunch at The Watering Hole in the Safari area and the food was amazing and really quick service. The layout and design can be a little bit of a maze so keep your little ones close because they could easily walk off 10m and get lost in some areas. There was also lots of areas where you could quickly duck out of the rain showers without having to gun for it. Friendly zoo staff who are quite happy to stop and talk about the animals or renovations going on.
  • Finally a zoo worth visiting. Well maintained, interesting themes, good facilities, reasonably priced cafés. We came on a windy day, but that was not a problem with the way the zoo is designed, the wind was not bothering. Our toddler had a great day and a lot of fun. We will be coming back for sure.
  • Yes loved auckland zoo. Has every kind of animal and bird rectile. kids will love it and also adults. Easy to get around.
  • Great day out for the family or even just to walk around and take some pictures. Everything on site from coffee to food and even ice cream. And just like the wild you are not sure what of their many animals will be out and about which makes it even more worth while when you a great view of them
  • Amazing experience. Buggy's are $8 to hire (incl double - made it so much easier!!). Wonderful disability prices and we couldn't have had more fun here if we'd tried!
