  • I arrived there while wandering around. The place is not so big, just two stall open, but the quality of fish is fantastic. it's very clean and not at all smelly. I bought some tuna and it was delicio...  more »
  • We came across this Auckland landmark by chance. At the fish & chip shop, we bought fish of the day at $5. It was parore, and as it was so fresh, we bought a second portion since we didn't have enough...  more »
  • Located near the port of Oakland. Is not equivalent to the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo speaking, but so big. You may visit as a market fresh seafood by the variety at the same time, so they do. Many hotels with cooking facilities, such as in New Zealand, you can prepare meals in the hotel, bought a home that has a meaning. Souvenir be pickled and smoked Mussel (mussels in large type). Eat in there because many seafood restaurants nearby is easy.

  • The fish is fresh straight out of the water and into your plate, fish and chips is great whatever fish is on the day I love it.
  • I worked around here for a while, and it's an alright attraction. Great if you like fish, everything is cut on site and super fresh. The coffee isn't consistent as they're always hiring new staff. The area is nice, quiet for Auckland and pretty glorious on the summer, there are little playgrounds dotted around the quarter, heaps of restaurants of varying prices and many cultures. Good for a quick trip but don't make it your day plan.
  • Still under construction, currently there is only one "Fresh" fish shop ... not worth going until they complete the revamp.
  • Good place for fresh fish and amazing smoked fish. Some parts currently undergoing a renovation but main market still running
  • Great quality and a large variety of fresh fish. Friendly helpful staff. Clean display area.
