  • Hard to beat a sunrise or sunset stroll through this park. Lots of paved walking paths if it's raining. Plenty of open space for the kids to run if the weather is nice. Several exotic trees, including the dreamy looking Ombu. Who needs a playplace when nature provides some of the most unique experiences for a kid (as well as the kid inside us). Easy park to find! Just keep in mind that it's an uphill walk from Queen Street.
  • Beautiful place to walk. Located next to University of Auckland, is the best place for students to walk and have quite and alone time. Take your date and ill assure you he/she love it.
  • A peaceful and huge park in central Auckland that's great for a walk or to spread out your blanket and have a picnic on a nice day. The grounds are well kept and they have tons of lovely flowers.
  • Great place for a get away in the city. Peaceful with a huge garden and nicely maintained garden. Beautiful fountain in the center.
  • Lovely park. There is a large fountain in the center with lots of park benches around. The walkways are well taken care of and there are constantly fresh seasonal flowers being planted. You can catch a nice view of the Skytower in some sections. I walk through Albert Park everyday on my way to work and it's always pleasant, especially in the summertime when people lay out on the grass and reads their books, kids play frisbee and hide-and-seek, and everyone soaks in the warm weather and sunshine.
