Elegant gardens await you at Albert Park, an oasis in downtown Auckland. This park features palm trees, a Victorian fountain, artistic statues, and a floral clock--plus a collection of local and international plants from across the globe, like the Argentinian ombu tree. Meander down the site's paths, view the vibrant flowers, and admire the beautifully designed green space in the heart of the city. Visit the art gallery and gardens tucked in at one corner, or stop by the small museum of memorabilia housed in the original park-keeper's cottage. • Albert Park is one of Auckland's best parks which is centrally located in the heart of the city with colourful flower display.  more »
  • Nice and well maintained park in the middle of Auckland. I stopped there for a while during my short walk from Sky Tower to wharf.  more »
  • It's a nice park with beautiful flowers during spring, summer, until autumn. Peaceful and relaxing place. However, the public toilet here is not pleasant unlike to the other parks around the city.  more »

  • Pretty little park that's well taken care of. Great place to break away from the busy city life in Auckland. Has a lot of area for just sitting around and chilling. Great place for a walk or a run as well. Some real pretty flowers around here as well.
  • One park in the middle of Auckland, New Zealand. This park is the main destination for visitors. Albert Park is the heart of the city which is filled with beautiful plants and flowers in the summer like now. You can do various fun activities here, you can read, exercise, interact with friends, and family. The place is friendly with children, children are very happy to play here. Here you can find various types of birds.
  • The sort of pretty, historic, quirky, inner city park that is often found around NZ but is almost completely gone from modern Auckland. Grass area, statues, gorgeous trees and flowers, surrounded by impressive buildings, situated on an extinct volcano, short walk to Queen St, parking and High St/Vulcan Lane precinct. Recommended
  • A magical place in the very heart of the city. You can sit among trees that are probably more than a hundred years old. You can view the great well kept flower gardens. A great view of the city scape and its tall buildings is available all around you. The forefathers of the city had great vision setting this piece of land apart from the commercial development to become a park. If you are a visitor please come here to relax.
  • A small gem of a park in the middle of the busy business district. It is an oasis of quiet with very large and majestic trees and a beautiful flower garden. I enjoyed spending time there just sitting and strolling in the warm sun!
