Elegant gardens await you at Albert Park, an oasis in downtown Auckland. This park features palm trees, a Victorian fountain, artistic statues, and a floral clock--plus a collection of local and international plants from across the globe, like the Argentinian ombu tree. Meander down the site's paths, view the vibrant flowers, and admire the beautifully designed green space in the heart of the city. Visit the art gallery and gardens tucked in at one corner, or stop by the small museum of memorabilia housed in the original park-keeper's cottage. • Well kempt beautiful gardens, picturesq spot between the university and the art gallery to enjoy a picnic, or relax or just a wander.
  • A peaceful and huge park in central Auckland that's great for a walk or to spread out your blanket and have a picnic on a nice day. The grounds are well kept and they have tons of lovely flowers.
  • Lovely park. There is a large fountain in the center with lots of park benches around. The walkways are well taken care of and there are constantly fresh seasonal flowers being planted. You can catch a nice view of the Skytower in some sections. I walk through Albert Park everyday on my way to work and it's always pleasant, especially in the summertime when people lay out on the grass and reads their books, kids play frisbee and hide-and-seek, and everyone soaks in the warm weather and sunshine.
  • Lovely little park right next to Auckland University. Good spot for an improvised picnic lunch or to relax in the middle of the day. Make sure you don't miss the Victorian houses on one of the sides.
  • Really nice place, with beautiful water fountain, well manicured gardens and lawns, and plenty of space
  • Great Park with some nice areas for different activities. Also great for Uni students who need some fresh air.
