  • Most folks got fish and chips of various sorts. I got the grilled salmon because I try to avoid deep fried stuff. Have to say salmon was top quality, well prepared and tasty. Even had crispy skin on ....  more »

  • I worked around here for a while, and it's an alright attraction. Great if you like fish, everything is cut on site and super fresh. The coffee isn't consistent as they're always hiring new staff. The area is nice, quiet for Auckland and pretty glorious on the summer, there are little playgrounds dotted around the quarter, heaps of restaurants of varying prices and many cultures. Good for a quick trip but don't make it your day plan.
  • Nice fish market (going through some renovations at the moment), also a nice restaurant and a cheap and cheerful fish and chip takeaway with outdoor bench style seating
  • Great fresh fish here... Always good Went today....dinner was yummy....thanks
  • My partner and I came by here to see the fish market. It is amazing. You can tell that the fish are fresh. There is another part of this place just across the hall where there is another counter. There they sell smoked items, from salmon to tuna as well as marlin. The price is worth it if you're planning to have fresh seafood--it's much less expensive than buying dinner at a restaurant. We stayed in a hotel with a kitchenette so we were able to have dinner every night without having to spend a lot of money. The people here are friendly.
  • No a huge fish market. Lots of closed shops, but there are still some decent fish specials and some good sashimi.
