Queen Street, Auckland Central

Vibrant and multicultural, Queen Street represents a major commercial thoroughfare in Auckland's central business district. The street begins on the city's waterfront and runs for approximately 3 km (1.8 mi) in a mostly south-southwesterly direction towards Auckland's residential neighborhoods. Named after Queen Victoria, the street is part of the city's main shopping district, flanked by numerous department stores, banks, and restaurant franchises. Head here on foot to see several landmark buildings, including the town hall--a major civic structure from the early 20th century, it features a giant organ, the largest musical instrument in the country. • The main busy street in Auckland. Lots of shops, restaurants & cafe's. Busy, busy but interesting to see.  more »
  • One of the main streets of auckland, no great charm, but for shopping, you will find your happiness I think

  • It must be inevitable that we come to the Queen's Street in Auckland. It's really a lot smaller than I thought, and the Oakland Shopping center is relatively small, the brand is also limited, and the big luxury items are only a few, in Queen's Street North position. In all, it's perfect for eating, shopping, health care and skincare products.

  • Great service, good food, love the interesting twists on the smoothies, the pineapple and cardamon is my fav and the cherry danish, down a little quiet lane making it a quiet spot to have a coffee during the business day.
  • Coffee is usually pretty good but they need to revise their prices. 90c for a side of cream is ridiculous.
  • I went here today with my friend because she had a voucher for a steampunk coffee which we didn't know what it was. It was such a nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly! We also got a brioche, which the staff very kindly cut in half and served on separate plates with separate little pots of butter for us. And they toasted it for us which I thought was very nice of them. The coffee was very nice too! I'm glad we came, and will return for brunch hopefully in future :)
  • No toilet. No wifi. Good coffee.
  • The coconut smoothie was luke warm and not tasty
