  • Good place to stop after negotiating the windy road. Great view of the viaduct and valley and usually a few keas hanging around looking for photo opportunities
  • We met a couple of Kea here. Be careful with these birds, they are rare and precious. Absolutely lovely. The Viaduct is nice - birds cooler.
  • Worth the drive! Keas come up really close for great photos
  • Visited in April 2016, it was drizzling when we drove here. No other visitors, no sign of Kea (damn, really disappointed). But the view is really magnificent, it just makes you feel so tiny to stand in front of the divide of great mountains. Be careful with the traffic around, steep road and zigzagging road.
  • amazing view, and you could find native birds eating your tyre
