Kea Point Walk, Aoraki Mount Cook National Park (Te Wahipounamu)

(4.6/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
A walk along Kea Point Walk yields excellent views of Mt. Cook (known in Māori as Aoraki) and Mueller Glacier. The well-maintained footpath starts at the Hooker Valley campground and parking lot and stretches out for 2.8 km (1.72 mi). The easy walk is suitable for all the family, including a baby in an all-terrain stroller. Note, however, that there is no shelter along the way, so walking here on particularly windy or rainy days may be unadvisable. To visit Kea Point Walk and get the most from your holiday in Mt. • Minimal hikers enjoying the view with reasonable time and effort, I think. Almost walking level (starting from the parking lot) and prevents it from being able to go hard.
