  • The place is beautiful. Well planted slopes, the soft path, the omnipresence of animals in a setting close to our daily environment. We're having a very good time, alone, in couple, with children... But the cages are small. The terrariums are tiny and even when we don't see animals (are there?) One could envisage a more immersive mode. Enter in a large aviary with all the birds and the bats would perhaps complicate the maintenance and monitoring, but would be more satisfying, more modern, and would certainly promote the reproductions!

  • Wonderful and huge variety of bird species. The park is located on a hill and takes more then 3 hours to visit. 
  • The zoo and botanics themselves are pretty light on animals and plants. There's a few native animals (mostly birds), and some plants. Entry is cheap, but it's on the side of a hill, so walking would b...  more »
