4/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web
Famed for its coral reef, the tiny Ile aux Canards island remains a snorkeling paradise just a stone's throw from the mainland. See exotic marine life up close and personal, or just stay on the sand and relax. Rent a beach chair and umbrella, and pick up a few snacks at the cafe serving light meals and drinks. Remember to wear reef shoed to avoid cutting your feet on washed-up coral. If you can, avoid visiting when a cruise ship arrives to take adavantage of the best spots on the sand.
