Canons du Ouen Toro, Noumea

Categories: Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web
Work up a sweat with a climb to the top of Canons du Ouen Toro, a tall mound overlooking a lagoon. Choose from several trails ascending the forested slopes, all of which lead to the summit and two Australian cannons left behind from World War II. Take a guide and learn about Australian troops stationed here to assist New Caledonia during the war. For the best views, visit at the end of the day, when you can catch the sunset.
