Easo Beach, Lifou

(3.9/5 based on 50+ reviews on the web)
Thanks to its natural beauty and rich marine life, many visitors compare Easo Beach to the Great Barrier Reef. Wear reef shoes and navigate through the shallows to reach one of New Caledonia's finest snorkeling sites, filled with schools of fish, turtles, and occasional harmless shark. Protect this pristine natural location by watching your step and not wearing any sunscreen, which can shed damaging chemicals into the water. To protect yourself from sunburn, wear leggings and a long-sleeved rash guard. Add Easo Beach to your Lifou travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our Lifou trip itinerary maker.

  • This is near the village of author (Easo) will be near a cruise ship dock of the beach of Riva, on the beach near the pier said here. This is relatively small, particularly coral reefs, but is a place where you can enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches and clean sea. I have to go, sinek Bay to see authentic coral reef just off this beach. From the side of the cruise ship dock is per passenger-friendly souvenir shops depending upon open it seems.

  • The beach is nice and big, the ocean is nice with flippers, mask and snorkel. Lots to see under water. Try to get there a day or there is no stop of an Australian ship (2 to 3 times a week) to avoid the crowds. Very tourist market on the beach, much more authentic in the late afternoon after the return of cruise passengers on board.

  • Seriously best snorkelling to share with kids. Land at Lifou Jetty and walk through market up hill and left to Notre Dame De Lordes. Turn right before the church, about 1km easy walk and down to this ...  more »
