Pic N'Ga, Ile Des Pins

4.3
#5 of 7 in Parks in Ile Des Pins
Hike to the highest summit on the Isle of Pines, known to locals as Pic N'Ga. Lace up your hiking shoes, take plenty of water, and slather on sunscreen to protect yourself against the unobstructed sunshine as you ascend the 262 m (860 ft) summit. Once you reach the top, take a few moments to admire and photograph the panoramic views of the island and the ocean. • Very nice hike has through the mountain with the discovery of an absolutely beautiful panorama at the top all over the island. Provide good walking shoes and water for these 45 minutes of ascent. A big mounted hard at one time but is only the matter of 10 min and worth it!

  • Nice walk through the forest and then on the ridge. Pretty easy way with some climbs a bit steep. My 3 year old son climbed to 3/4 of the way. Allow an hour to go. Beautiful view upon arrival, first to the cross, then on the other side on a path which winds along the Ridge about 150 meters and gives a great perspective on the Upi and Oro Bay. Great activity, watch the descent, it can slide on gravel.
