  • Formerly called as Royal Chitwan National Park, it was established in 1973. With an area of 932 square kilometers, It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Nepal. If you are travelling for the first time, here is a couple of things you must try: 11. There is a special vehicle called 'Tanga' driven by horse that you must ride. 2. In the early morning, elephants are brought to bath in the bank of Rapati river, you can pay some amount and climb the elephant and bath with them under the guidance of so called 'moutey'. I bet it will be one of the best experience in your life. 2. One Horn Rhino is the most popular endangered animal found on Chitwan National Park. Do a Jungle Sufari.
