  • You have two options to catch a view of Everest - hike up from Lukla (you don't have to go all the way to Base Camp) or pay a fortune to take a helicopter flight from Kathmandu or Lukla (which is real...  more »

  • Good outdoor fun, weather permitting. Would have given 5 stars, but there were not enough restrooms. I have a 4 year old that won't pee outside. I'll get a babysitter next time. Not very family friendly.
  • it was pretty fun but the best part was the summit i mean i could literally piss all the way down it was great. but don't do it when the wind is right or it will blow back into your face lots of fun totally recommend it
  • Fantastic sledding experience! Had so much fun racing down the small hill with my friends and we all tried our best in it. The only sad part causing this 4 star rating is that I lost my friend Greg down the track.. If you are going there for a morning run and see Greg looking for us, please let him know as we would love to have him back. P.S. When you reach the peak, on the right balcony with the view towards the track you can find a Starbucks Cafe but the coffee is served cold :(
  • Recommend taking your sledge for the way back down and if your good enough you can do 360air off green boots on the way, i chose to run it up last time beating my personal best of 8min 46secs. Although a gentle jogs much more suited as you'll see more. Views - not all that although there's a pay telescope 10m left of the summit, recommend grabbing coffee and a packet of oxygen to sniff from the shop just before the summit.
  • Two continental plates collide to create what is recognized as the tallest peak in the world. If for whatever reason, you want to be one of the few people who have ever stepped foot on the tallest spot on earth, this is it. There are a lot of social dynamics associated with climbing this mountain and a ton of desire to mark it off a list.
