4.8/5 based on 70+ reviews on the web
Admire pristine clear lakes reflecting the magnificent Mount Everest at Gokyo Lakes. Worshipped both by Buddhist and Hindus, the moon-like landscape feels out of the world and evokes feelings of sanctity. Feel the power of the mighty Himalayas as you walk along the trails around the lake providing breathtaking views of untouched nature. Standing at 4,700- 5,000 m (15,400- 16,400 ft), the lakes' conditions can be extreme so don't forget to bring warm clothes and good hiking equipment.
