  • Essentially this is a suspension bridge over a river but it is worth a visit for the views and experience. Anyone afraid of heights or moving bridges may want to give this a miss.  more »
  • The fast flowing stream. The river flows over a large section of the city. White is the color of the mészkőtől.

  • Hydroelectric power plants and the suspension of the three took to the scooped-out deep valleys. Combined, they give light hiking route. Recommended as an alternative when the weather is bad not feet towards the Himalayas.

  • This place is very peaceful and naturally attractive. You can find very intense natural beauty just by walking 50 meters from main city road. A very deep gorge and an artificial water canal system surrounded by natural grenery is an abbreviation for this place. If you want to see a very busy city and peaceful nature coexisting together, you should give this place a warm visit.
  • Great view of the deep gorge below.. worth a visit if you have time in your hand and not busy doing other things.. not much to do except to revel in the beauty of nature out here and get mesmerised by it
  • It's a great place to hike, if you like being in solitude without the busy bodies of the city.
  • Not quite river I would say. More like a tunnel of water going through Hills. But something new I experienced.
  • it's a trurist attraction, but not a great place to spend ur valuable times

Where to stay in Pokhara

The country's second largest city has long been on the radar of international travelers, so you won't be disappointed with the number of places to stay in town. Most people look no further than the lakeside area, and if you're only in town for a short while, it really makes sense to stay by the water. You'll find standard larger hotels and pristine boutiques with attractive gardens and views, as well as a number of guesthouses run by families and aimed at backpackers. If you're going to be in town for a while longer, take a look at the rental properties available, either by the lake or in some of the less-frequented residential districts.
