Waterfall Nature / Park
Take a trip to Devi's Fall, an roiling cataract that cuts deep into the ground. Plunging 100 m (328 ft) down into the earth, the fall has formed an underground tunnel at its foot, approximately 150 m (500 ft) long. The surrounding park offers extensive views of the water as it heads through a series of arches and over cascades before finally plunging into the abyss. Reach the fall via taxi or bus from the main town or lake. Arrange to visit Devi's Fall and other attractions in Pokhara using our Pokhara travel itinerary planner.

Where to stay in Pokhara

The country's second largest city has long been on the radar of international travelers, so you won't be disappointed with the number of places to stay in town. Most people look no further than the lakeside area, and if you're only in town for a short while, it really makes sense to stay by the water. You'll find standard larger hotels and pristine boutiques with attractive gardens and views, as well as a number of guesthouses run by families and aimed at backpackers. If you're going to be in town for a while longer, take a look at the rental properties available, either by the lake or in some of the less-frequented residential districts.

  • How a small site can be developed into a tourist spot is amazing. The introduction was there, the small replica of himalaya ranges gives a great photo area, and the pathways were leveled good for olde...  more »
  • Nothing too great here, not worthwhile to really stop and see, hardly a fall is seen here. the cave seen from distance is better but not a definite stop point.  more »
  • Was interesting, but not very spectacular due to being just before the rainy season, so not too much water in the falls.Could imagine it gushing in the monsoon period.  more »

  • Unique fall which false into the gupteshwor cave nearby. You have to pay 30 rupees as an entry fee. The garden is good. There are some temples and idols. There are some statues to take photos in. Visit in your way in or out of the peace pagoda. It's on the way.
  • I wouldn't have recommended this but if your in the area check it out, the falls themselves are beautiful but there are huge white bars blocking everything. And the park has a slightly random feel not relevant at all. 30Rupees to get in.
  • A popular spot for the tourists in Pokhara. You will enjoy the overwhelming roar of waterfall. You will enjoy it.
  • It's a unique waterfall. Rs. 30 needs to be paid at the gate. It's amazing to not know where the water in the fall comes from
  • The mysterious and wonderful natural landscape formed here is great. Sound of waterfall brings a kind of chill inside. Rainy season is best to see more of waterfall over here. The whole area is not that wide enough to walk around. It just takes around half an hour to move around here.
