  • High Asia tours were very professional and organised booking our tour through Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. We had a few hiccups at the beginning with our flight to Bhutan as the final email with all our travel documents including the Bhutan visa weren't received. It was sorted the same day and lucky for us there was another flight to Bhutan that afternoon. Bhutan was a beautiful country along with the people and the culture. If planning on travelling to three countries as a group I would finish in Bhutan We did Bhutan, Nepal, then Tibet. I would recommend getting your Nepal visa before you leave home and possibly your Tibet visa. Our guides and drivers were all very experienced and knowledgeable in each country. The accommodation in each place was of a high standard. A special thankyou to our guide (Kinsley) and driver (Gatsby) in Bhutan who could not of done enough for us to make our trip memorable Thanks Asia tours for memorable holiday
  • Amazing experience. Nepal is an amazing and lovely country, full of nice people. The experience wouldn't have been as pleasant without High Asia Tours services. They did every single arrangement, we did not have to worry about anything. Food was really good and hotels nice and clean.
  • We booked our tour of China (Chengdu and Tibet), Nepal, and Bhutan with High Asia. The company prepared an itinerary based on our input, a customized private tour. The company arranged the flights other than our flight from the U.S., they arranged for English speaking guides that were absolutely excellent. Dave from High Asia was very responsive to all our questions and concerns before and during the trip and the price of our tour was very reasonable. I highly recommend High Asia for visiting China, Nepal, and Bhutan.
  • I was the unfortunate one who stuck in Lukla airport because of the cloudy weather. Only the first flight can fly on that day. Waiting in the airport was never a pleasant experience. It was freezing in the airport. You have nothing to doing but wait and hoping for the sky can be a bit clearer. Eventually, the airport announced that there would be no flight flying from Kathmandu. The worst of all was the cloudy weather may persist for a few more days. Dave's staff managed to put me in a heli ride back to Kathmandu in the afternoon on the same day. I top up only around US$100 for the heli ride which I was willing to pay, not only because staying in Lukla was a torture, but further delay may affect schedule back to my home. I was glad that I can back to Kathmandu as scheduled, but the heli ride was an incredible experience. The view was spectacular. Thanks Dave for the flexible arrangement. Show less
  • AMAZING experience in Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet. If you’re planning a trans-country experience in the region, this company is highly highly recommended! And this is by a very seasoned traveler who normally opts out of tours and chooses to plan things herself. I am a vegetarian, who explicitly stated that she wanted to focus the tour on culture, spirituality, dance, and a bit of trekking — and this trip was a perfect amalgamation of all of it! There is a human element that surpasses the corporate with Dave and High Asia — he knows all of the associate travel agents in a personal way, which makes it for very nice and smooth travels with seamless communication. He organized a real journey of a lifetime for me from Nepal to Bhutan and Tibet (even personally dealing with the Embassy for me), allowing me to enjoy the countries, the beautiful people, and their respective sceneries without the hassle of the logistics — they were so beautifully arranged and taken care of from the beginning through a carefully crafted document with an itinerary and packing list. Kinley in Bhutan is one of the best tour guides, if not the best, I’ve ever had. His attention to detail and knowledge of his country is one that I have yet to find in anyone else. He loves his country dearly and it makes for that much more of an enjoyable trip - It’s contagious. The meals and accommodation were up to standard, fitting if not surpassing the price paid. All of the tour guides and drivers were phenomenal, respectful yet candid about their perspectives and experiences. Again, I highly highly recommend this tour company!
