As you are visiting Darbar Square you will cross the temple by default, no need of extra efforts. temple will be closed but you will get outer view and feel of Nepali PAGODA style. more »

Dipal Malla
One of the unique Temples in the capital city, opens only during the day of Dashain, has historic as well as traditional importance. It has been destructed by earthquake of 2015 and is under reconstruction.

Historically rich place with ancient art and architecture. Taleju temple is open for visitors once every year on the 9th day of Dashain. So you have to wait till that day if you want to visit. But the view is accessible from any roof top restaurant around the area.

Taleju Bhawani is one of the sacred goddess of Mallas. The royal temple of goddess Taleju is in Bhaktapur and is the oldest among the other three. The temple is one-storeyed. Only Hindus are allowed to go inside the temple and photograph is strictly prohibited.
