  • My friends and I just finished our Everest Base Camp trip with a Heli return this past week! To say this company is amazing is an understatement! The company made this trip stress free and gave realistic expectations of what to expect on the trail. Everything was planned from our airport transfers to the booking of all our accommodations. Our guide Dipesh was absolutely amazing! He made sure everything went smoothly behind the scenes and most all of our requests along the trail were attended too (we were a pretty high maintenance group at times lol). I felt very safe and trusted Dipesh to get us all to the end of our goal! I can not thank him enough along with our Porters Gopal, Sharey, and Dipak for making this trip possible. You will all hold a special place in our hearts because of your amazing hospitality. I look forward to booking another trip to Nepal in the near future with you guys :).
  • I just got back from the mardi himal hike in April 2022 after waiting for Nepal to reopen after Covid. Ace the Himalaya had amazing communication entire part of the trek prep, during and after. Our guide RAm crushed it super informative, spoke good English, he was there to pick us up at the airport. Great knowledge of city and cultural sites, felt like we had known each other for years. Highly recommend Ram as a guide for your next trekking adventure. Our porter was Kiz Mat young guy crushed it also felt like we were friends for yrs. He was extremely friendly guy spoke English well. Ram and Kiz Mat~aka (lucky wizzy) made a great team in making my our trip unforgettable!!
  • Need a reliable trekking tour for EBC? THIS IS IT! We are so grateful for Ace the Himalaya Trek Tour. From the moment we signed up with them, we had instant communication and whatever questions I had, they were very prompt to answer. It is their mission for you to feel comfortable and have a good experience. I am not the “most fit” person (though I would consider myself a seasoned traveler) and in general, when it comes to hiking, I tend to be slower (I have weaker legs). However, your guide will never leave you behind but instead they made me feel like I could go at my own pace, take many breaks, and they will never force you on something you don’t feel comfortable with. Each day they go over suggestions to help you acclimate properly. I honestly don’t have any feedback for improvement because that is how wonderful everything was. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I loved my guide, Dipak and my porter, Yem…they did so much to take care of me and my partner. I was very worried about accomplishing the goal to the base camp, BUT WE DID IT!!! Recommending to all I know!
  • Grateful that I had chosen Ace Himalaya for my EBC trek. The experience from booking to final farewell at airport was efficient and seamless. The guides and porters assigned to me and other solo travellers from Ace Himalaya whom I met along the trek ensured my safety. The guides constantly checked in if I had attitude sickness issues and made sure I was well taken care of. The porters were efficient and made sure our belongings are always at the lodge before we reached. My guide paced the trek well to ensure my safety. Special thanks to the crew below for making my dream trip come true: My Guide: Bharat My Porter: Yammagar Other fellow travellers guide: Deepak and Surya
  • This is our second trek with Ace The Himalya, we decided to go again with them as they where so professional and organised the first time, and the second time they didnt disappoint. We decided to do the Everest Base Camp Trek again as the first time we didnt finish it, (no fault of our own) so we felt we had unfinished business. We were greeted at the airport by our guide, Rajendra Neupane, and was taken to our hotel, all the time being informed of the upcoming trek and pre-trek meeting at the Ace office. The Morning of the trek we were meet and driven to the airport and flew into Lukla, it was a great feelings to be back in the mountains after 7.5 years. The first days trek to Phakding is quite an easy day, although with drive to the airport and the flight, it is a long day. The second day you trek to Namche Bazaar, again a good days trek, you get to see and walk over the Hillary Bridge and then a hard climb all up hill. I love Namche, and the hotel you stay in (The Yak Hotel) is probably the best one in the entire trip. From here the trek did turn a little pear shape for us, my wife started to develop Altitude sickness, headaches, vomiting, wasnt sleeping, eating or drinking much. After the acclimatization day was over we trekked to Tengboche, this again was a good trek with a hard 2 hr climb at the very end. Once at the crest of the hill you were greeted to the sights of Tendboche Village and Monastery. The following morning my wife was suffering even more with headache etc, the guide Raj, started to offer options for us, the whole time you felt he actually cared about our wellbeing, but also wanted to get you, if possible to your goal. My wife stayed in bed for an additional couple of hours, and i said about stopping, but after a little sleep my wife decided to push on to Dingboche, as we had another acclimatization day there, which could help with altitude sickness. We got to Dingboche, the place to had to turn around the first trip, and with a headache and no food, the wife made it to 4712m and then back down to the village. In the Morning however, she was still feeling bad and instead of heading to Lobuche we decided her health was more important and headed back to Namche Bazaar. Again Raj offered options to help, like horse or helicopter, but the wife being the trooper she is decided to try and walk it, 7hrs later we were there and she started to finally start feeling better. The Ace office staff in gthe meantime had re-scheduled our flights back to Kathmandu and also our hotel stay. Although we still have unfinished business at Everest Base Camp, we can not fault Ace and there staff, in fact we couldnt praise them enough. We are already talking about our third attempt and when we are ready to book, it will be with Ace The Himalaya, they have well and truely proven themselves and earnt our trust.
