  • This park covers a very large area and you have to go through it for trekking to Everest Base Camp. It is a very scenic park and very varied terrain.

  • This park has hiking, sport climbing, and more! The entry fees differ by activity and are more expensive for foreign visitors. The bolted climbs are of decent quality. Some anchors are accessible by a short hike if you'd like to set up a toprope without leading the climb.
  • I love Shivapuri Hike. Shivapuri National Park offer many days hikes and many choices of starting and ending point. Whether you go Nagarjun Hill area, or start from Budhanilkantha, all provide great views. You could do one day to 3 days or even continued to Helambhu Area or further to Langtang National Park. If you start from Sundarijal, then of course you could stay on night in Chisopani and other day can go back to Kathmandu or Nagarkot before you drive back to home. It provide great views of both mountain and nature.
  • A good place for leisure crosscountry cycling and scenery.
