4.5/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web
Take a dugout canoe trip along Narayani River and observe awe-inspiring wildlife with mugger crocodiles, one-horned rhinos, elephants, deer, and various rare birds. As part of the Chitwan National Park, nearby attractions also include a baby elephant nursery and a crocodile breeding center, where you can stop along the way. Snap plenty of pictures as you float down one of the largest rivers in Nepal, near the Indian border. Villages within the park organize boat trips, most notably Sauraha. Bring a zoom lens with you and some small change to tip informed drivers. Narayani River is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Chitwan National Park Edition.
