Remodelled in the 17th century by King Bhupatindra Malla, the palace's design is worth paying attention to.   • This is one part of the palace where at the entrance itself at first floor there are series of windows in a continuous it is said that queen was using this place to adore the surroundings.  more »
  • Unfortunately, the Palace was badly damaged by the recent earthquake, however, continues to be one of the most beautiful buildings of Nepal. Special attention is paid to the carved wooden window.

  • The palace of the 55 windows is situated in the main Durbar square of Bhaktapur. Its opposite the Vatsala temple and next to the golden gate. The palace is carved out of wood and has amazing architect...  more »

  • UNESCO listed world heritage site, Bhaktapur Durbar square is more than three hundred years old. It is a must visit place in Bhaktapur. And when you are there, don't forget to taste the locally made curd popularly known as "juju dhau".
