  • From the end of 2017, 2018, during the holidays went into the Annapurna Sanctuary trekking in Nepal. Guide information is slightly outdated, trail head is changing, so leave as 1/2018. [Number of days required for trekking from Pokhara] Guidebook, dhampus trailhead and then 8 days-9 day course introduces the present village of sway into taxi so Annapurna base camp (ABC) for round trip is possible as the minimum number of days 4 nights/5 days in Pokhara. However, are there for 5 days and 4 nights is a pretty tight schedule only if the weather is not bad and the physical problem not because normal tour in 5 nights 6 days are you willing. General 5 nights 6 days (we are very concerned by the deterioration of weather conditions due to snow, for 7 days and 6 nights at) [Trek schedule: If one day → Pokhara sway (the taxi at about 40 us $), sway-can purchase walking time 6 hours less than Jo Meuron stay 2 day can purchase → Himalayan walking time 7 hours less than Himalayan Hotel Hotel day 3 Himalaya Hotel-Annapurna base camp (ABC) walking time ABC → SINIS walking five-hour ABC stay 4 days 6 hours While weak SINIS stay 5 days → SINIS Xenu Onsen Xenu relax walking time 3 hours less than dinudanda stay at day 6 → dinudanda → sway by taxi to Pokhara back walking time 2 hours 4 nights/5 days of forced March, above day 5 and day 6 Would you like to walk one day. Time stop by Xenu hot springs that you can't. Himalaya Hotel-machhapuchhare base camp (one night), machhapuchhare base camp-ABC (1 night) Cenotaph, splits into 2, 3 day trip because he had taken us 6 nights 7 days and you can afford to. For reasons to walk one day divided into two days shows accompanied by the mild altitude sickness symptoms were not without machhapuchhare base camp from the view there was not high, but was very nice also. Xenu hot springs by descent if you wear a bathing suit condition because remember swimwear trekking package. (There is a dose of shampoo and conditioner is good!) [equipment] considering the winter mountain from the fall of Japan for winter trekking equipment is required. Himalaya hotel to fall in elevation equipment, Himalaya hotel is equipped with winter, mountain specifications down jackets, gloves, hat, down sleeping bag (for mountain), a mountain climbing shoes are required. Outside temperature is minus ABC up to 20 degrees Celsius.

  • Ever since returning from our trek to Annapurna Base Camp we have longed back to Nepal! "We are three guys, each just over 60 years, and we hiked, with some effort, with an English-speaking guide, Santosh Dhakal, and a carrier. Both hired by the firm Outshine Adventure, Kathmandu, which also accounted for the other events, IE. Food and shelter, during the hike. They were very helpful, caring and friendly. Everything was great and we were lucky with the weather, too, and could in a comfortable temperature and without a veil of clouds to enjoy the mountains. Everything was wonderful, and we have to back before we get too old! Per Jacobson with friends

  • Annapurna (Sanskrit, Nepali, Newar: अन्नपूर्णा) is a massif in the Himalayas in north-central Nepal that includes one peak over 8,000 metres (26,000 ft), thirteen peaks over 7,000 metres (23,000 ft), and sixteen more over 6,000 metres (20,000 ft). The massif is 55 kilometres (34 mi) long, and is bounded by the Kali Gandaki Gorge on the west, the Marshyangdi River on the north and east, and by Pokhara Valley on the south. At the western end the massif encloses a high basin called the Annapurna Sanctuary. Annapurna I Main is the tenth highest mountain in the world at 8,091 metres (26,545 ft) above sea level. The entire massif and surrounding area are protected within the 7,629 square kilometres (2,946 sq mi) Annapurna Conservation Area, the first and largest conservation area in Nepal. The Annapurna Conservation Area is home to several world-class treks, including the Annapurna Circuit. Historically, the Annapurna peaks are among the world's most dangerous mountains to climb, although in more recent history, using only figures from 1990 and after, Kangchenjunga has a higher fatality rate.By March 2012, there had been 191 summit ascents of Annapurna I Main, and 61 climbing fatalities on the mountain.[5] This fatality-to-summit ratio (32%) is the highest of any of the eight-thousanders. In particular, the ascent via the south face is considered, by some, the most difficult of all climbs. In October 2014, at least 43 people were killed as a result of snowstorms and avalanches on and around Annapurna, in Nepal's worst ever trekking disaster.
