White Elephants, Yangon (Rangoon)
Categories: Wildlife Areas, Nature & Parks
White Elephants displays the animals that, throughout history and in numerous Burmese legends, were important and believed to bring good luck to those who owned them. Interestingly, the elephants are not actually white, but are in fact pinkish in color, due to their very rare condition of albinism. Here you'll see three of the elephants sadly chained to a pole, only occasionally taken outside to take part in traditional ceremonies. ただ象がいるだけなので、わざわざ行く場所ではないかと思います。Loka Chantha Abhayaに行くついでによる位がちょうどよい感覚だと思います。I think where elephants are just as, go all the way. I think by the way at Loka Chantha Abhaya just good sense.show original
The elephants were tethered and could do little more than sway their bodies and swat flies with the trunks. I am not sure what any tourist could be impressed by.
