  • You can from nyaung schwe north direction cycling and then you come out here eventually. The bike ride there is nice and quiet. The pagoda itself was hard to find. It sits next to or literally on the same property as the monastery: a dark brown building on the left side of the road. It says that here, but that turned out to be a school next to the pagoda. Inside very beautiful and quite different from the pagodas that we have seen so far. Definitely worth a bike ride.

  • Upon entering Shew Yaunghwe Kyaung we were very surprised. There were hundreds of Buddhas most dressed the same. All of the Buddhas have a name of person or family who donated the Buddha.

  • Food took an hour. They forgot one item. Curries were very watery and small.
  • Everything is very good. Local and international food. The owner is unbeatable. Highly recommended.
