  • Certainly architecturally the most complex between the temples of Mrauk-U. My personal list would be 1. Dukkanthein Paya, 2. Shitthaung Paya, 3. Koe Thaung Paya. Very interesting to explore concentric galleries at right angles filled with Buddha statues. Not to be missed.

  • It is the first temple we did in Mrauk U. very nice site to visit. The Interior is beautifully decorated.

  • The only place in mrauk u that has entry fee. 5000ks. Nice, but if you have been to the one across the street in the field, its almost the same just better maintained and buddhas are gold. Museum is ok. Be wary of kids asking for money.
  • The name means "Temple of 80000 Buddha images". It also known as "Temple of Victory".
