Mingun Glocke, Mingun
(3.4/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Visit Mingun Glocke to hear the ring of one of the world's largest bells. Cast in 1808, it held the record as the world's largest bell several times, before being eclipsed by one from China in 2010. The 6 m (20 ft) high, 90-ton bronze object features inscriptions describing its weight on the outside. This bell doesn't have a clapper; instead, it is rung by striking its outer edge. Give it a good hit, striking the bell is permitted. Arrange to visit Mingun Glocke and other attractions in Mingun using our Mingun travel itinerary planner.
