The Atumashi Monastery is a Buddhist monastery located in Mandalay, Myanmar diamond, which adorned the Buddha image (originally given to King Bodawphaya by Maha Nawrahta, the Governor of Arakan) disappeared as well.In 1996, Burma's Archaeological Department reconstructed the monastery with prison labor.

  • Yes, I know it sounds a bit banausenhaft, but this old monastery is not really interesting. It hurts nothing but just once to go around the platform and take a look in the Hall. And the giant portals on the sides represent an interesting and unusual background for portrait photos / group / couple photos.

  • Even in winter, with cold winter temperatures and Pretoria-distance. Sun at midday until it causes a burning sensation in the skin, discouragement, but the greatness and beauty of Atumashi Kyaung, visible from afar, make us resistant to surrender to indomitable walk through a path flanking the Sun backlit by force until and when brought into the monastery, and cool on the inside, because the marble is adjusted and the open air, wind and air direction tee lol.
