Kakku Pagodas, Kyaing Tong

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.8/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web
A little off the beaten track, 600-year-old Kakku Pagodas attract visitors with the sheer number of pagodas in such a small space. Built side-by-side, the religious structures provide an interesting sighting and heritage learning experience, and surround one main, bigger pagoda. Each structure has its own ornaments and statues, and twinkling chimes decorate the air. Try to organise a good guide to teach you about the history and the Pa-O people who live in the area.
