  • Unfortunately even this temple we found it closed. It's a pity that for some temples there is a monopoly whereby only some guides know where to get the keys. We have found at least 5 or 6 temples were closed and there was no question of minor temples or closed for renovations! Too bad because even here we could see some frescoes. Takes its name from the wife of King Uzana Thambula, who had it built in 1255.

  • The small pagoda that dates back to approximately 1200 retains a number of interesting frescoes and, for once, in a high-ceilinged and airy environment where you don't need a flashlight to see them. Especially beautiful are those located in the North and in the South portico the painting representing a boat race was unusual but oddly effective. The only problem is that it is often closed and, in our case, having the leadership there has been opened.

  • When I went for the first time without the key, but did not. And twice visited the payartonzoo in the morning, I asked to a souvenir shop, just tourist groups that came from that. The tumbler in a hurry. Besides some fresco remain clean, but more neighborhood payartonzoo and nandamingna is too beautiful, I lost.
