  • The main Buddha statue is under a huge naga (snake dragon) very typical of many Buddhist temples. The temple is from the 12th century, and has the corridor walls decorated with paintings. The sanctuary central has two Buddhas of foot more small, in addition to the large.

  • * Nagayon is a beautiful very well-preserved temple within which are 3 great golden standing Buddhas. The principal is overhung with a cap representing a dragon serpent. Two beautiful statues are in the entry hall and a dark corridor serves as a passageway but he does bring a flashlight to get around and see a few (very impressive) paintings and other Buddhas in niches. Photos prohibited inside. Nice site away from the groups.
