Visit Dhammayazika Pagoda to see terracotta tiles depicting scenes from the Jataka tales, stories about previous lives of the Buddha. You can enter the building through any of five entrances, with the layout of the pagoda in a pentagonal shape. Each side of the pagoda displays an image of the Buddha, enshrined in a small temple. Pay attention to the bell-shaped dome on the top of the pagoda, with concentric rings and lotus buds giving the dome an impressive aesthetic. • A beautiful temple, away from the "celebrities" of the site, it is enclosed by a rampart. We appreciate in full day, the course which is well shaded. The temple is well maintained, there is a statue of Buddha covered with so many gold leaves his hands are distorted.

  • Cool temple, currently has bamboo scaffolding around the stupa. There is a monastery behind where you can climb up to watch the sunset. Nearby temples are cool looking with different tops.
  • Inside there are beautiful wall paintings and outside is just as stunning to look at. Well worth a visit.

  • This is an amazing gold-topped pagoda with some other interesting temples nearby. Hint: There's a flat-topped building just to the North of the pagoda that's great for sunrise/sunset!
  • The golden roof shines in the sun and you can walk the perimeter of the pentagonal temple. Gorgeous piece of architecture.
  • Nice Pagoda !
  • A nice place for sunrise view if you stay in New Bagan Zone.
  • Worth the visit
