Religious Site
Visit the oldest pagoda in Bagan, Buphaya Paya. Legend says that the king, having destroyed gourds (an infectuous plant) from the riverbanks, built the pagoda in the shape of that plant to celebrate his achievement. Take a look at the bulbous shape of the gilded dome, and experience the view, since the temple overlooks the river. Today's pagoda represents a reconstruction from 1975; the original was destroyed in an earthquake. • The Woods Road, located on the banks. It's longingly at a sacred place for Myanmar people, said foreign tourists, Myanmar tourists more than feel. Around and lined with souvenir shops and eating a fair number are also killing time in a good location.

  • Small stupas in Tinseltown, but it was pretty hmm I like impression. My impression is not good enough or taken large numbers of tourists, and playing with the local kids, was buzzing. Too much dirty water had withered further, the Guide, it is said would clean. Clean. I wonder if I.

  • It's nice for location, but from other temples in bagan is no big deal. If you have time it is good.

  • You can get the nice and beautiful sunset view at this Pagoda and take the boat for river sight see and to Tant Kyi Taung Pagoda that's on the west river side mountain from Bagan.
  • Nice place to go, for a quick visit. Spent 15 min there and it was enough. Like it though.
  • Best place to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River.
  • It must be a remarkable visit for me why we could make cleaning a bit by sweeping the floor in the premise of pagoda. It must be said a nice place to visit and there is a boat port to across the river to go to Tant Kyi mountain on the other side.
  • A nice place to relax, watch he sunset and the surrounding environs.
